IMTEC Acculine announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of A1 Technical Ceramics LLC. A ceramic machining company based in the Bay Area. The assets acquired by IMTEC in the acquisition include A1 Technical Ceramics customer base, equipment, and other related assets. David Pham the previous owner of A1 Technical Ceramics has been brought on to assist with the transition.
The acquisition was completed after thoroughly reviewing synergies that exist between the two companies. Beyond the cost savings of combining operations, IMTEC extends its reach into the ceramic machining market. Leveraging IMTEC's ISO 9001 certification and infrastructure, additional market share can be captured through current customers, desiring tighter quality controls.
