45° Knife Edge Weir: In overflow vessels, Imtec utilizes a 360° weir with a scalloped 45° knife edge rim. The baths are designed to produce an optimum flow pattern so that particles are carried off from the substrate surface and directed over the weir edge. The 45° degree weir design creates flow plumes that pull particulate up and over the weird, even if flow rates are marginal.
“ORIGAMI” Method- Our Teflon baths are CAD designed and CNC machined to achieve complicated shapes that are then folded into baths. This method minimizes welding and seams that can trap particles.
