11/14 Engineering Manager, retirement

20-Nov-2014

Imtec announces the partial retirement of Ken Struven and the addition of Bill Capogeannis as our new Engineering Manager.

Ken will continue as vice president and will remain as a member of the board of directors. In addition he will continue as a special adviser to Imtec and in charge of special projects.

We will miss Ken’s 23+ years of service to Imtec and his vast experience and contributions as a valued member of our team. I have had the pleasure of working with ken for the last 15 years and consider him not only my most valued adviser but as a true friend. Fortunately he will continue to contribute to Imtecs success on a part time basis while he pursues personal goals.

Bill Capogeannis graduated from UCSD (University of California San Diego) with a BSME in 2000. He has been working as a Mechanical Design & RF Engineer since 2003 at Omniyig, Inc., a bay area RF power company primarily dealing in the defense industry. Prior to that he worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at advanced Ion Beam technology, Inc., developing multiple electro-mechanical designs used in the Semiconductor Industry. He has filed multiple provisional & non-provisional patents over his career. At the end of February, 2015 he will assume full Engineering Manager Responsibilities.

Please join Imtec in welcoming Bill Capogeannis to the Imtec team, while wishing Ken Struven the best of luck on his future endeavors.
